Erin Council, B.S. Research Biologist
With a significant background in biology and chemistry and extensive time spent in a lab, I have developed a passion for research. Since working with CBD Houston, I have developed a new, deeper passion for cannabidiol research. Because some prescription medications produce adverse effects and even dependency, I aspire to educate individuals on safe medicine alternatives such as cannabidiol.
I believe scientific data is difficult to understand for some individuals, so I have designed my work to provide clear explanations of scientific data pertaining to cannabidiol’s role as an antipsychotic, antinociceptive, anticonvulsant, and anxiolytic agent. My research currently involves the therapeutic benefits of CBD in chronic pain management and CBD as an opioid-sparing medication.
